Fly into Spectacular Northwestern Ontario, Canada

Flight Time: 30 Minutes (75 miles)
We depart from Trout River North of Ear Falls

What More Could You Want?

Is it exceptional northern pike or walleye fishing you are after? In 2004 the largest northern caught in Ontario that year was caught at McCusker Lake Camp. Our walleye and lake trout fishing is also fantastic.

“The fishing is fantastic, best I’ve had “ – Stu Everett – Host of TV Show “Gone Fishing”

When you book a trip to McCusker Lake Camp, you are the only group during your stay. We do not book in Multiple groups for the dates of your trip like some other outfitters. The whole Camp is for your group only, which our guests want and appreciate.

About McCusker Lake

Come and share with us the peace and beauty of Canada’s wilderness. McCusker Lake is situated 140 air miles north of Kenora in Northwestern Ontario. We are accessible by air only and a choice few people get to visit and fish our waters each year. McCusker lake is a crystal clear spring-fed lake with waterfalls coming in one side and flowing out the far end of the lake. The lake is about 14 miles long and between 200 yards and 2 miles wide with many long bays with large islands and sandy beaches.

The lake is over 200 feet deep in one spot with many areas 80 to 100 feet deep where the fighting lake trout are always plentiful. In the spring and fall, the lakers are caught right in with the walleyes below the waterfalls, in the shallow bays and off of the many points and islands. The walleyes and northerns stay healthy and vicious right through the summer because of the constant cool water.
